Theurapeutic Effects of Conalbumin to Acute Gastroenteritis in infant & Children

Abstract
|
|
|
Therapeutic effects of conalbumin were studied for acute gastroenteritis in 40 cases of infants and children, 40 cases with conventional diet therapy or Antibiotics. Conalbumin was given 400mg~1200mg according to their body weight orally in 4 divided doses. The results were as follows
1. Of the 40 cases with Conalbumin, the number of "Clinical Successes" was 37 out of 40. After 4 days of therapy, 92.5% of the treated children had been completely normalized, and disappearance of the intestinal inflammation, compared with 70% of control group.
2. Any side effect was not noted in all groups.
